Project Reach: Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, poverty leads many of the brightest minds to forgo the opportunities provided by higher education, thus keeping the nation as a whole from developing as quickly as it should be able to. However, support by The Nippon Foundation, provided through the Bangladesh Scholarship Council, has for over ten years provided thousands of students with the means to overcome this hurdle.

The scholarship promotes higher education in Bangladesh by awarding scholarships to the best and brightest university students in the fields of medicine, engineering, agriculture, science, technology, commerce and the humanities.
