Report on Former Leprosy Patients’ Audience with Emperor and Empress

The Nippon Foundation held the launch ceremony for its 2015 Global Appeal to End Stigma and Discrimination against People Affected by Leprosy in Tokyo on January 27. Eight former leprosy patients from Japan and other countries who attended the launch ceremony will have an audience with Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan on the morning of January 28. Later in the day, the attendees will report on their audience as follows.
