The Asian Women Social Entrepreneurs Network Conference, a project supported by the Nippon Foundation, will be held in the Thai capital of Bangkok from Thursday, June 8 to Saturday June 10, 2017. The conference will bring together approximately 30 women social entrepreneurs from the Mekong region (Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam) who are engaged in handicraft businesses, for the sharing of information regarding issues facing women social entrepreneurs in the region, capacity building, and networking.

Program

The conference will provide an opportunity for women social entrepreneurs active in the Mekong region to exchange information and develop partnerships, building on the 2014 launch of the Asian Women Social Entrepreneurs Network.
