Report on Initiatives of ‘Working Group on Remote Work by Persons with Disabilities’ Issued

The Nippon Foundation launched the Working Group on Remote Work by Persons with Disabilities in June 2020. The Working Group includes members with a variety of disabilities including visual, hearing, mental, and locomotor dysfunction, and met online because of the coronavirus pandemic. The report summarizes the Working Group’s activities, including examples of providing reasonable accommodation and other issues raised and identified in the course of its work. We hope that companies and other organizations seeking to promote inclusion of persons with disabilities will find this report to be a useful reference source.
